The adjustment method of the small CNC lathe returning to the reference point?

The reference point of a small CNC machine tool is a fixed position point used to detect and control the motion of the machine tool.

The position of the reference point of the small CNC machine tool is precisely adjusted by the machine tool manufacturer with a limit switch on each feed axis, and the coordinate value has been input into the CNC system. Therefore, the coordinate of the reference point to the origin of the small CNC machine tool is a known number.

Usually on a small CNC milling machine, the machine origin and the machine reference point are coincident; while on a small CNC lathe, the machine reference point is the extreme point farthest from the machine origin.

After disassembly and assembly of the transmission mechanism of each axis of the small CNC lathe, after the feed servo motor is replaced, and the position detection device is repaired, the position of the machine reference point will be inaccurate. CNC lathe manufacturers need to adjust the return reference point of the machine tool.
